Ei Publican Partnerships and Star Pubs & Bars have joined forces to promote the initiative

This year, the second year the event has run, National Pub Fortnight will take place between July 20 and August 5.

Both pub companies will be providing support for publicans and encouraging them to run their own events such as beer festivals, music events, family fun days and BBQs.

There'll also be a free drinks promotion, media coverage and a social media campaign to spread the word.
