Heath conscious drinkers can now buy a low calorie, low sugar Prosecco, thanks to UK drinks company Thomson & Scott.
The firm claims its skinny version of the popular fizz is authentic, as it is made from grapes grown in the foothills of the Dolomites, in North East Italy.
It is also organic and vegan and contains half of the normal amount of sugar found in Prosecco.
Amanda Thomson, founder of the company, says there's no need to add lots of sugar to wine as long as, "you grow beautiful, pure fruit in the vineyards and work carefully and respectfully in the winery."
The company also produces two Skinny Champagnes – a Grand Cru Brut and a Grand Cru Rosé. All of the products are available to order from the company's website.
Prosecco is shaking up the sparkling wine category, becoming more popular than Champagne, so much so demand looks like it might soon outstrip supply.
