In a bid to lure craft beer fans into craft cider Pilango has launched a hopped cider.
The four per cent ABV sparkling cider, Hopped, is made with Cascade hops and is described as having notes of, "citrus, tropical and elderflower."
As with all the other ciders in the range it is made from apples that are "begged borrowed, donated and saved from languishing in gardens"
The hopped cider joins its sister cider, Liberated, which was launched in 2016, and was made following a trip to the Cider Con conference in Portland, Oregon, said Pilango director, Victor Zasadzki.
"People often overlook craft cider, but it is a wonderful product; as a category, it has the diversity of wine and the innovation of craft beer," he said.
