Based on a 130 year-old family recipe, soft drinks maker Hartridges has developed new tonic waters.

Hartridges Indian Tonic Water and Hartridges Light Tonic Water have been created to tap into the booming premium tonic market and both are made with all-natural flavours and are free from preservatives.

The light variant is also completely sugar-free.

"My great, great grandfather, Francis Hartridge, first created Hartridges tonic water in 1887, so I'm delighted to be welcoming it back to the family 130 years later, taking inspiration from the original recipe," said sales and marketing director Edward Hartridge.

"Our Indian and Light Tonic Waters offer choice to operators looking for affordable, premium mixers with the potential to make great margin."

The tonics are available now in 200ml bottles and join the family-owned company's range of sparkling soft drinks, fruit juices, mixed juice drinks, cordials, postmix and the Francis Hartridge's Celebrated range.
