Craft brewer Sadler's has moved into spirits with the launch of a new range that capitalises on the popularity of BBC TV show Peaky Blinders.

The three-strong range was launched just in time for the start of the 4th series of the show, which began on November 15.

The range is said to celebrate traditional flavours from the 1920s with a contemporary twist and comprises:

• Irish Whiskey
• Spiced Dry Gin
• Black Spiced Rum

"Our mission is to create products that are one of a kind, with their own unique story and we believe we've well and truly done that with the launch of our Peaky Blinder spirits range," said Chris Sadler, a fifth generation brewer of the Stourbridge-based company.

"Back in those days it was about grafting and crafting, whether that was legitimate work or activities only the Peaky Blinders would be associated with, but either way, it's that hardworking, uncompromising Black Country attitude we've looked to instil into this new range. You can almost feel transported back to those streets, to those bars, to the sights and sounds of old school Black Country when you enjoy these drinks – it's a great experience!"

The launch comes at the same time as a rebrand for Sadler's which has a new logo and packaging, inspired by the Black Country.
