Don't believe us? It's true and here's how...

It is estimated that 13 million pints of Guinness will be poured on St Patrick's Day, which falls this Saturday (March 17 2018). Each one, according to the Guinness Academy, should take precisely 119.5 seconds to pour.

Which means the world's bar staff would spend a collective one billion, five hundred and fifty-three million, and five hundred thousand seconds - or 49.2 years - pouring Guinness pints this Paddy's day.

The calculation was done by BB Foodservice, part of Bestway Wholesale, which has been running a promotional deal on bottles of the Black Stuff ahead of the big day.
