Flavoured with blackcurrant and blackberry the Swedish cider joins the booming market for fruit cider from the tap.

"The move to offer a premium draught variant feels like a natural progression for Kopparberg, with its current position as the best-selling premium packaged fruit cider in the UK on trade," said Rob Salvesen, Senior Marketing Manager at Kopparberg comments,

"As such, we're extremely excited about the arrival of Kopparberg Black to our portfolio, not least being able to offer consumers a fruit cider on draught made to be more sessionable and a premium alternative to what is already on the market."

The four per cent ABV cider is served up extra cold and comes with a standalone font or lens and tap handle.

It is being boosted as part of £6m-worth of marketing activity across the whole range, which launched last month with its new Outside is Ours campaign. As part of this the new variant will will be listed at the Lovebox, Citadel and Sundown festivals, alongside the brand's Kopparberg Outsider stage.
