Double, double, toil and trouble...but there's no wool of bat and tongue of dog in this cauldron.
Thousands of the branded vessels are being distributed by WKD-owner SHS Drinks ahead of Halloween.
The company is using the cauldrons to push four of its sharing cocktails and has created a mixing guide for pub staff to make things easier on the day. The cocktails are:
- Cheeky Vamp – (with WKD Blue)
- Manghoul – (with new WKD Mango Crush)
- Bloody Berry – (with WKD Berry)
- Venom – (with WKD Blue)
Alongside the cauldrons SHS Drinks will be providing a range of Halloween POS items and is running a competition across social media to raise awareness of the activity in pubs and bars..
"Halloween is becoming a bigger and bigger event in the on-trade calendar each year," says Amanda Grabham, head of brand marketing – alcohol at SHS Drinks.
"Our Halloween activity is all about facilitating a fun evening for consumers and helping licensees maximise the seasonal opportunity. This October, with the scariest night of the year falling on a Wednesday, outlets can choose whether to hold celebrations the weekend before, the weekend after, or on the night itself.
