The new brand is a range of classic cake flavours distilled into gin.
They are also low sugar and lower in alcohol, at 20 per cent ABV.
The range was created by company founder Carl Stephenson and are named after his late Auntie Dorothy (Dot) Cuthbert. There are currently six flavours in the range:
- Victoria Sponge
- Blueberry Muffin
- Rhubarb & Custard Crumble
- Lemon Drizzle Cake
- Black Forest Gateau
- Parma Violet Cupcake
"With an ABV of 20 per cent, Mrs Cuthbert's – which is made in North Yorkshire – offers a playful range of flavours to explore whilst following the demand for lower alcohol and low sugar-content drinks and will resonate more strongly with a female customer base in spritz style serves or flavoured gin & tonics," said company founder Carl Stephenson.
The brand has already been listed with Greene King pubs, having created a bespoke flavour for the group, Passionfruit Pavlova.
"We are very thrilled to work alongside the Greene King team and for the opportunity to create a bespoke flavour for their customers. This project reinforces their desire to lead through innovation, which can not only benefit their customers, but the entire national on-trade category," Carl said.
