Cases of Magners up for grabs for punters who've backed the last horse over the line.
For the first time at one of the most famous fixtures in the horse racing calendar, there'll be a reason to celebrate backing a losing horse, says Cheltenham Gold Cup sponsor, Magners, who are offering to swap a 'losing ticket', for a case of Magners Original Irish Cider.
To turn a loss into a win, all people need to do is upload a picture or screenshot of their betting slip to a dedicated page on the Magners website.
This will be valid on all bets placed on the Magners Cheltenham Gold Cup, which is due to take place today (Friday March 15) at 3.30pm.
If you or any of your punters are thinking of having a flutter on the losing horse, here's some tips from celebrated jockey, Andrew Thornton (pictured above):
- Go with your gut – if you've got a track record of picking the last horse, continue as normal, trust your gut
- On the cards – if your horse is near the bottom of the race card ranking, you're probably not a long way from a Magners
- Under pressure - Stage fright happens to us all, spot the horse who's on his toes and that's the one for you
- Back the Irish – plenty of Irish horses have won, plenty of Irish jockeys have lost – back the Irish and you'll win either way
