This comes as the company re-launches its own-brand Chefs’ Selections range with a new look and more products.
As pubs cater for all-day meal occasions, including afternoon tea and coffee breaks, it has developed products to include ambient cakes (can be stored at room temperature) for pubs which have less storage room.
Kelly Orme, group buying manager, said that chocolate cakes were always popular but botanical cake flavours were on trend right now.
The new range now consists of over 350 products across grocery, frozen, chilled and non-food categories and is available to customers across the UK and Ireland via Caterforce’s network of eight delivered wholesale members.
