Premier Foods is extending its Bisto offering with four new sauces - Curry, Parsley, Béchamel and Cheese – available in an “industry first” granule format.
The range has been introduced following insight into the most popular dishes on UK menus.
The sauces can be made by adding water, and the company hopes pubs can start upselling a sauce as a side dish.
Sarah Robb, channel marketing manager at Premier Foods, commented: “The Bisto sauces are quick to make and we’ve made sure that the flavours are well suited to the dishes consumers want to enjoy eating out-of-home.
“Indian flavours continue to be favoured and with fish dishes in growth by almost 8 per cent, our Bisto Parsley and Béchamel sauces can be the perfect accompaniment.”
