The hunt for the best pub roast in Britain is closing in, with the deadline for entries to the Best British Roast Dinner competition just around the corner (1 October 2017).

The pub that lifts the title will take home the title of Best British Roast Dinner 2017 and £10k PR support to help give it the fame it deserves.

"We've always been busy, but since winning the Best British Roast Dinner competition we're taking bookings for Sunday service weeks in advance. It's inspired us to become even better."

But winning the national title isn't the only chance pubs have to get the fame they deserve...

Before the judging panel (which includes renowned food critic Charles Campion and top chef and restaurateur Mark Sargeant) names the national winner, it will announce five regional winners for South England, North England, Midlands, Wales and Scotland.
