The BT Sport Pub Cup will see north and south come head to head in a dramatic conclusion at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium.

The tournament saw more than 900 football teams from across the country apply to represent their local pub, but 16 teams were selected for two regional finals.

The southern final played at the home of QPR, Loftus Road, saw Hertfordshire pub The Great Northern win a spot in the trophy match, seeing off Cardiff’s, The Daylight Inn.

They will meet Liverpool pub, The Liver Vaults in the final after they defeated Shropshire-based The Leaking Tap, following a penalty shootout at Everton’s Goodison Park grounds.

The final takes place on Tuesday night (May 23), with guest of honour Harry Redknapp, who will meet the teams pre-match and present the winners with the trophy.

The pub which the winning team are representing will receive free BT Sport for a year along with £5,000 to spend on their venue.

Highlights of the final will be shown on BT Sport following the conclusion of the competition. For more information about the tournament, click here.
