Two fighting legends and two different styles will clash next month - and now pubs can show the action live.

Sky Sports Box Office has confirmed that it will broadcast the hugely anticipated fight between former world champion boxer Floyd Mayweather and current UFC lightweight king Conor McGregor.

The pair will go head-to-head in a professional boxing match – McGregor's first - in Las Vegas on August 26.

It will be Mayweather's first fight since retiring in 2015 with a perfect 49-0 record. Mixed martial artist Conor McGregor is the reigning UFC lightweight champion.

David Rey, managing director of Sky Business, said: "This fight is simply unmissable, creating a fantastic opportunity for pubs and clubs to pack their venue and generate more money. This unprecedented event is another great addition to the incredible line-up of boxing Sky Sports has to offer pubs and clubs to help them pull in the crowds."

Boxing has brought some big nights to pub sector this year, notably in the heavyweight division where Anthony Joshua defeated Wladimir Klitschko and Tony Bellew stopped David Haye.
