Pub footballers are once again being given the chance to emulate their Premier League heroes.

BT Sport is bringing back its Pub Cup for a second year and teams are being asked to register now.

The ones that are lucky enough to be drawn to play will compete at one of six major grounds across the country in May, including Everton's Goodison Park and Sheffield Wednesday's Hillsborough.

Those that qualify from the 7-a-side format events in May will go through to an 11-a-side tournament at the National Football Centre in Burton upon Trent.

Two teams will then head to Leicester City's King Power stadium for the final on June 2. They will get expert coaching advice from BT Sport pundits John Hartson and Robbie Savage ahead of the match played in front of the BT cameras.

The champions will win £5,000 or equipment and free BT Sport for a year for their pub.

Bruce Cuthbert, director commercial customers, BT Sport, said: "Pubs are at the heart of their community and we want to help them thrive by giving their football teams the chance of a Premier League experience and to give something back to their local.

"We will be promoting this tournament across the BT Sport channel and social media platforms together with a national marketing campaign encouraging as many teams as possible to get to their local, speak to their landlord and sign up!"

You can sign up with either a brand new or an existing pub team.

Entries are open until the end of the month. For more information visit
