A team from Liverpool will be going for another cup final win to end the season – and we are not talking about the Champions League.

Defending champions The Liver Vaults have made it through to the BT Sport Pub Cup final, which will be played at Leicester's King Power stadium on June 2.

They will go head-to-head with The Gun, from Hackney, London, in a 90-minute, 11-a-side match that will be shown on BT Sport.

The two sides qualified at an event at the National Football Centre at St George's Park in Burton on Sunday.

Eight regional qualifiers played in a tournament for the right to play at Leicester with Liver Vaults winning the North section and The Gun, the South.

Footballers turned pundits Rio Ferdinand, Robbie Savage, John Hartson and "The Beast" Adebayo Akinfenwa were on hand to provide advice to players throughout the day. Former England rugby union star turned broadcaster Ugo Monye quizzed the players in a Q&A.

BT Sport's Ugo Monye puts the questions to Robbie Savage, Rio Ferdinand and John Hartson.

In the final, Robbie Savage will manage The Gun with John Hartson looking after the Liver Vaults.

The winning side will pick up £5,000 of equipment for their pub along with a free BT Sport subscription.
