Sky Sports has announced a four-year deal to be the exclusive NBA broadcaster.
Coverage of the season, which tips off this week, will see more than 170 games broadcast live.
The season opens in the early hours of Wednesday morning with a double header featuring Philadelphia 76ers visiting the Boston Celtics (pictured, Getty) and the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors hosting the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Sky said there will also be a record number of weekend games starting at 8.30pm.
