All of golf's four Majors will be back on Sky this year.

This could benefit pubs with a keen golf following, after last year's PGA Championship was only available on online subscription channel Eleven Sports.

There is also a shift in this golfing calendar with the PGA moving from its traditional slot as the last Major of the year to May. This means the four top prizes in golf will be competed for in an intense three month period.

The first Major will be the Masters at Augusta from April 11. The PGA Championship then runs from May 16 to 19. This will be followed by the US Open at Pebble Beach, which will be on Sky from June 13 to 16. The Major season concludes with the Open at Portrush in Northern Ireland in July.

All of the Women's Majors will also be broadcast by Sky.

David Rey, managing director of Sky Business, said: "Sky Sports is the only place to watch all four golf Majors and it's great news for our customers."

He added: "The summer line-up looks amazing; the best golf players on the planet will be jostling for even more Major titles on pristine courses, all the top cricketing nations will be competing at the ICC Cricket World Cup; England will be playing in the UEFA Nations League Finals; there's all the action from The Ashes and Lewis Hamilton will look to retain the World Championship. What a summer it's going to be!"
